The second of two knowledge exchange events investigating the gaps in understanding between researchers interested in refugee women's experience, and refugee women and voluntary sector allies. You can read the report from our first event, Sharing Knowledge Sharing Power, here. The events have been preceded by a period of desk research, looking at literature on participatory approaches to research, knowledge exchange, and ways of working collaboratively with marginalised communities.
This process of enquiry is exploring the question: Can researchers and refugee women and their allies work together in ways that are meaningful and ethical, to produce knowledge about refugee women’s experience that is scientifically credible, and useful? And if so, how?
Take a look at our event report to see what we learned this time around.
