Due to a number of life-events (not all bad – sickness, retirement and a new baby!), CSEL is undergoing some changes. Stuart Turner, the co-founder of CSEL has stepped up to be the acting (honorary) director of CSEL. Jane Herlihy has stepped down, and will not be available for presentations or training for the foreseeable future. She will, however, remain involved in the upkeep of relevant and timely psychological research through the website. Our website will continue to be a Research Hub, bringing you psychological research that is relevant to administrative and judicial decision-making about people facing human rights violations seeking justice and protection. We will update it from time to time. Academic publishing moves slowly, and we have a number of papers in the pipeline, in particular with regard to children and young people seeking asylum. We hope that you will continue to make use of the Centre for the Study of Emotion and Law and see the Research Hub as the place to find high quality psychological research which can inform and support your work with people who need justice and protection.
