This paper expands on the results of our study of inconsistencies in traumatic memories, originally published in the British Medical Journal (see paper here). This paper is also written for a more specialist audience - the readership of Torture, the journal of the International Rehabilitation Council for Torture Victims (IRCT). The paper describes other studies from the literature to explain & expand upon our findings.
