Our mission at CSEL is to ensure access for all to protection in the law, by providing the best available psychological science to lawyers, judges and policy makers. In order for us to continue doing this vital work, and to remain independent and credible in doing so, we rely solely on income from research grants, charitable trusts, and contributions from individual donors to cover our staff and project costs.
In addition to our valuable work on asylum, we would like to develop our work investigating psychological issues related to the treatment of sexual violence, trafficking and other issues in the justice system.
We need your support to conduct our research with the sensitivity and rigour required, and to disseminate it to those who can use it appropriately and effectively to increase the chances of a fair legal process for vulnerable people
If you share our passion for access to justice through the use of scientific evidence, please consider making a one-off or regular donation to support us.
